The pieces in the Nottingham Lace collection are all made by rolling soft recycled silver between two pieces of Nottingham lace. The result is an exquisite imprint of the lace onto the metal. The silver is then formed and hardened, in a way that aims to capture the more fluid nature of lace fabric.

Sustainability
Recycled silver represents a more sustainable and environmentally friendly way of making jewellery. It is absolutely equivalent to sterling silver, apart from the silver content is not newly mined; it is recycled from previously used silver, or silver waste. The ring has been hallmarked by the Edinburgh Assay Office, confirming the fineness of the silver.
All my jewellery is gift wrapped using packaging that has been carefully selected to ensure minimal cost to the environment. I endeavour to ensure that wrapping is sustainably sourced, recycled, and, wherever possible, biodegradable. All pieces in the Nottingham Lace collection are tied with a piece of Nottingham lace. For a touch of warmth, choose the sterling silver plated with 9ct Fairmined gold. This option ensures responsible sourcing practices that benefit artisanal miners and empower local communities.
Delivery
All items are delivered using Royal Mail Special Delivery which will require a signature on receipt. A delivery cost of £3.50 will be added at the checkout for all orders below £100. Orders above £100 are delivered free of charge. Further information about shipping can be found here.
