Additional information
The pendant is crafted from recycled silver and hangs from a sterling silver curb chain.
The pieces in the Nottingham Lace collection are all made by rolling soft recycled silver between two pieces of Nottingham lace. The result is an exquisite imprint of the lace onto the metal. The silver is then formed and hardened, in a way that aims to capture the more fluid nature of lace fabric. Each piece is individually handmade when I receive your order, so please bear in mind that the finished ring may not look exactly the same as the photographs!
Measurements
The pendant itself is just over 2cm in diameter (outside edge of ring); the inner coin diameter is 1.5cm. Please select your preferred chain length. You can find some guidance on chain lengths here.
Sustainability
Recycled silver represents a more sustainable and environmentally friendly way of making jewellery. It is absolutely equivalent to sterling silver, apart from the silver content is not newly mined; it is recycled from previously used silver, or silver waste.
All our jewellery is gift wrapped using packaging that has been carefully selected to ensure minimal cost to the environment. We endeavour to ensure that wrapping is sustainably sourced, recycled, and, wherever possible, biodegradable. All pieces in the Nottingham Lace collection are swaddled in bamboo wadding and tied with a piece of vintage. Further information about our approach to sustainability can be found here.
Delivery
All items are delivered using Royal Mail Special Delivery which will require a signature on receipt. A delivery cost of £3.50 will be added at the checkout for all orders below £100. Orders above £100 are delivered free of charge. Further information about shipping can be found here.
