Nottingham lace petal earrings

The pieces in the Nottingham Lace collection are all made by rolling soft recycled silver between two pieces of Nottingham lace. The result is an exquisite imprint of the lace onto the metal. The silver is then formed and hardened, in a way that aims to capture the more fluid nature of lace fabric. Each piece is individually handmade when I receive your order, so please bear in mind that the finished ring may not look exactly the same as the photographs!

The earwires are also handmade using 100% recycled sterling silver.

Measurements

These earrings have a drop of approximately 15mm from the base of the earwire and measure 15mm across at their widest part.

Options

Please select which finish you would prefer. The matte finish will gradually become more shiny as you handle the earrings, but a little rub with some steel wool will quickly retrieve the matte-ness!

Sustainability

Recycled silver represents a more sustainable and environmentally friendly way of making jewellery. It is absolutely equivalent to sterling silver, apart from the silver content is not newly mined; it is recycled from previously used silver, or silver waste.

All our jewellery is gift wrapped using packaging that has been carefully selected to ensure minimal cost to the environment. We endeavour to ensure that wrapping is sustainably sourced, recycled, and, wherever possible, biodegradable. All pieces in the Nottingham Lace collection are swaddled in bamboo wadding, wrapped in ecofriendly hemp fabric, and tied with a piece of genuine Nottingham lace. Delivery

All items are delivered using Royal Mail Special Delivery which will require a signature on receipt. A delivery cost of £3.50 will be added at the checkout for all orders below £60. Orders above £60 are delivered free of charge. Further information about shipping can be found here.
